Minimum requirements and qualification:
  1. Passionate energetic person
  2. Must be a student of Theology of have Theology Degree
  3. Minimum of 2 year  experience working with teenagers
  4. Mosaiek Member – Pre-requisite
  5. Excellent Computer Literacy Skills
  6. Confident and pro-active individual with a passion for youth and excellent people and communication skills.
  7. Ability to lead a team and work as part of a team.
  8. Ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  11. A flexible approach to work & working hours.
  12. Own transport with a valid driver’s license.
Responsible for:
  1. Managing and driving youth events (Mezo Live) once a month on a Friday evening
  2. Planning and organising appropriate youth and community programmes
  3. Preaching at Mezo at least once a month
  4. Help with planning and executing of Mezo Camps, retreats and help plan and execute special events
  5. To be part of planning and executing Sunday Mezo Service in conjunction with the Mezo Leader
  6. Pastoral care and relationship building focusing on the Micro Community – connecting with teenagers weekly
  7. Facilitate effective communication management with regards to social media
  8. To provide an efficient and professional administration and support service to Mezo
Purpose:
This position is suited for a young, energetic person with good interpersonal skills and a passion for youth (13 -18). Ability to meet deadlines and function as a contributing team member in the New Generation Team. Honest, reliable, accurate planning and execution skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to connect with teenagers and willing to work under pressure. Musical ability is always a plus when working with youth. The incumbent will be responsible for connecting with teenagers and building relationship. Part of this position is to be part of the team that ministers to schools in the community.
Video Production Coordinator

Video Production Coordinator

The position Video Production Coordinator is being advertised in the ministry team internally. This is a full time position that will report to the Video Team Leader.
 
 
Scope:
  1. Mosaiek’s Video Ministry is looking for a Video Production Coordinator to join this exciting team of creative and innovative people.
  2. The Video Production Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and executing administrative support to the Video Ministry Leader as well as ensuring effective internal and external communication, liaison and coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
Skills Needed:
  1. Computer experience needed include: MS Excel, Word, MS Outlook. Apple Macintosh experience and a basic knowledge of Photoshop is an advantage.
  2. A passion for people and excellent people and communication skills is important as is the ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritize your own workload, and meet deadlines.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills is essential and own transport with a valid driver’s license, is required.
Main areas of responsibilities:
  1. The Video Production Coordinator must manage and oversee the schedule and diaries of each of the Video team which include: Video Ministry Leader (Executive Producer), insert producer/director, the cameramen and editors.
  2. The Video Production Coordinator is expected to be methodical and thorough in their
    approach to work with a strong focus on detail and a high degree of accuracy. You will also need to show a desire to show initiative and be flexible in your approach to work & working hours.
  3. Key functions will include liaising with video volunteers to confirm bookings, Call Times, and logistics for Sunday services, and special events.
  4. You will also be responsible for the coordinating of Sunday Journal recordings, which include but are not limited to: Booking and confirmation of presenters, booking of locations and venues, Booking and confirmation of equipment needed and Booking of interviews
  5. You will be required to serve as part of the Video team during the Sunday services, in the capacity of a camera or multimedia operator.
  6. With regards to the kykNET broadcasts you will be required to create the graphic elements for each broadcast episode which include the scripture, the song lyrics and the end credits. These will be used in edit and must be supplied to the senior editor, on time and correct.
  7. You may also be required to act as a production assistant to the director and camera crew, during recordings which may include the weekly devotion videos, journal inserts, promos etc.
